Sister Cindy :I was in the elevator.I was coming home because I didn't  go shopping. I came to see my brother.

Brother Marcel : I was in the balcony. I was watching citybustle.I was listening to music that was coming frome next door.

Husband Antonio:I was in the shower because I was dirty. I was playing golf when it started to rain.

Maid Louise:I was cleaning the hall because it was dirty.Then I went to the bedroom to clean it. After that I went to the living room and then to the kitchen.


A police officer interviewed lady Betty Owens.

P: Why did you leave the jewels in the living room?

B:Because the phone rang and I went to pick it up.Sister called to come and she did not go shopping.

P:Did you hear any sounds?

B:yeah when the elevator stopped.


P:And then what?

B:Stones' seller called. The only thing I noticed was that the jewels disappeared.

P:and then you called us?

B:Yes, because the maid disappeared and I immediately suspected her.

P.Yeah you were right. She took jewels and brought them in the living room. Then she went to the kitchen, and then to the elevator.
